European champions warned not to expect home comforts in September as Italian giants are desperate to put an end to dominance of Pep Guardiola's squadAC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri believes his side can stamp their authority on the Camp Nou when they take on Barcelona in the Champions League next month.
The two giants of European football will engage in battle for their Group H opener on September 13 in Spain.
Current Champions League holders Barcelona have been sensational at home, but Allegri is hoping to put a capstone on his own aims to stun Pep Guardiola's men.
"Barcelona are the strongest team around, but we are aware of our own strength and we know we can play well against them," Allegri is quoted as saying by Il Corriere dello Sport.
"There are chances of doing really well in Barcelona, and we have the conviction."
Allegri's squad has been strengthened with the recent arrival of Alberto Aquilani on loan from Liverpool.
And he cannot wait for Aquilani's feet to hit the ground.
"Aquilani can cover all roles in midfield. He has excellent quality with attacking characteristics," he concluded.
