Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has recalled Cristiano Ronaldo into his 19-man squad for Tuesday evening’s encounter with Barcelona in the Champions League.

The Portugal international was left out of their team for the Primera Division match against Real Zaragoza at the weekend that they lost 3-2 at the Santiago Bernabeu. However, Ronaldo has made the cut for the second-leg of their semi-final tie against the Catalan giants at Camp Nou.

Centre-back Ricardo Carvalho too returns to the squad after missing out on last week’s first-leg because of suspension. Youth team player Nacho too has been included but Pedro Leon and Sergio Canales have been left out. Midfielders Fernando Gago and Sami Khedira are injured.

Defenders Sergio Ramos and Pepe are suspended for tomorrow’s game. Ramos picked up a yellow card against Barca last week while Pepe was shown a straight red for his challenge on Daniel Alves. Mourinho himself will have to watch the match from the stands as he was sent off too in an ill-tempered Clasico.

Real lost the first-leg 2-0, thanks to a second-half brace from Lionel Messi.

Goalkeepers: Casillas, Dudek, Adan.
Defenders: Carvalho, Marcelo, Arbeloa, Albiol, Garay, Nacho.
Midfielders: Granero, Lass, Kaka, Alonso, Di Maria, Ozil.
Forwards: Adebayor, Higuaín, Ronaldo, Benzema.
