The Spanish international claims the Catalan giants will still need to be careful in their Champions League semi-final encounter, despite their 2-0 first-leg victory
Barcelona winger Pedro says that they must remain cautious against Real Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final tie.
The Spaniard’s comments come after the Catalan giants defeated Jose Mourinho's team 2-0 at the Bernabeu in the first leg on Wednesday evening.
Pedro told the Spanish media after the game: "We are 90 minutes away from the final but we must be cautious. We are in a good position but there is still another game."
Despite the impressive away result that was achieved without several first-team players, including Eric Abidal, Adriano and Andres Iniesta, Pedro remains upset about the club's Copa del Rey loss to their bitter rivals Madrid last week.
"I'm still disappointed after the defeat in the cup final because we were fighting for all the titles. But we're in this competition [Champions League] and there are still 90 minutes left," he said.
The 23-year-old is having another impressive season for Barcelona and has scored 20 goals in 46 appearances so far.
