'Barcelona are always crying' - Real Madrid striker Emmanuel Adebayor slams rivals after Champions League defeat
The on-loan Manchester City striker hits out at perceived play-acting by the Catalan club after Pepe is sent off in a 2-0 defeat in their semi-final first leg tie at the Bernabeu

Real Madrid striker Emmanuel Adebayor has accused Barcelona players of play acting and "crying like a baby" after the Catalan club’s 2-0 Champions League win at the Bernabeu.
Pepe was shown a red card in a fiery encounter between the two Spanish giants, but Adebayor felt that the decision was harsh.
"For me in a few days I have played three games against Barcelona, and each time we have to play with 10 [men]. That's something I cannot believe and today maybe Pepe committed a foul but I don't think it was a red card and it was difficult for the team,” he told ITV after the game.
"But our belief is still high and we just have to believe that we can do it there [at Camp Nou]."
The on-loan Manchester City striker felt the Barcelona players were prone to play acting and the Catalan club had to cut that out of their game.
"Football is a game of men," said the 27-year-old. "Whenever you play against Barcelona, whenever you touch them, they are on the floor crying like a baby. Whenever you make contact in a 50-50 they are on the floor, crying, putting their hand over their face, and their manager, their fans, they are always crying.
"Barcelona are a fantastic club, don't get me wrong, but they have to stop a little bit of that."
The Togo striker was asked whether he felt that Pep Guardiola’s side lacked respect for the game, Adebayor again insisted that the Barcelona players over-reacted to challenges.
"Tonight I think yes," he responded. "We are here to play football but whenever we go 50-50 they are always on the floor crying."
Adebayor also insisted that the team is fully behind manager Jose Mourinho and that they are confident of overturning the result in the second leg.
"We cannot change Jose. It has worked for his teams up until now so I don't see why we should change now. As soon as we lost, everyone will criticise but we love him as a manager and we just have to believe we can do it in the second leg. We will see what happens."
