thumbnail Hello,

Malian comes in for injured Spanish star as Catalans look to gain first-leg advantage over arch rivals, for whom Karim Benzema - who scored at Valencia - misses out

It's now official. Both teams have been announced as Real Madrid take on Barcelona for the third time in 11 days - this time it's in the Champions League semi-final, first-leg at the Bernabeu.

Fortunes have reversed in this fixture over this season. A 5-0 league win at Camp Nou by Barca was followed by a 1-1 draw at the Bernabeu. Last week's Copa del Rey final ended 1-0 in favour of Madrid. And the fierce skirmishes are set to continue tonight.

Andres Iniesta is out with injury for Barcelona and is replaced by Seydou Keita, while Ricardo Carvalho is suspended for Real Madrid. Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo lead the charge for their respective teams upfront.

Despite scoring at Valencia Karim Benzema missed out, as Mourinho plumps for a front three of Ronaldo, Oezil and Di Maria.

With Maxwell, Adriano and Eric Abidal all sidelined, Carles Puyol has been drafted in at left-back, while former Liverpool man Javier Mascherano partners Gerard Pique at centre-back.

Confirmed lineups:

Real Madrid: Casillas; Arbeloa, Sergio Ramos, Albiol, Marcelo; Xabi Alonso, Pepe, Lass; Oezil, Cristiano Ronaldo, Di Maria. Subs: Higuain, Adebayor, Granero, Dudek, Benzema, Kaka, Garay, Adan.

Barcelona: Valdes; Alves, Mascherano, Pique, Puyol; Xavi, Busquets, Keita; Pedro, Messi, Villa. Subs: Jeffren, Roberto, Afellay, Milito, Alcantara, Fontas, Montoya, Pinto.
