Young Boys defender Scott Sutter pleased with 'dream' match against heroes Tottenham Hotspur
Childhood fan couldn't believe score against favourite Spurs...
By Michael Landon
Sutter has supported the North London side since childhood and admitted he found it hard to believe the scoreline. Strikes from Senad Lulic, Henri Bienvenu and Xavier Hochstrasser put Young Boys three up before Spurs came back into the tie thanks to strikes from Sebastien Bassong and Roman Pavlyuchenko.
But Sutter claims his side were looking for even more goals against the Premier League giants, and he has hope his side play as well in the second leg.
"It was a dream for me personally to play against Tottenham and as a player it doesn't get better than this, walking out in front of a full house to play Tottenham," he told Sky Sports News after the game.
"I could never have imagined it like it was. We tried to look for the fourth goal. We had a couple of very good chances to extend our lead.
"It was important that we left the tie open for the last game, we did fantastically well today. I just hope we can play as concentrated,'' he concluded.
