Manchester City full-back Micah Richards has confirmed that he expects to be fit in time for the FA Cup final against Stoke City.
Roberto Mancini's men take on the Potters at Wembley on May 14, with the Eastlands outfit looking for their first piece of silverware in over three decades.
Richards had returned from injury and was expected to be a part of the semi-final squad against arch-rivals Manchester United. But the young full-back experienced a hamstring problem that ruled him out of the victory against Sir Alex Ferguson's side.
Now the 22-year-old has confirmed that he expects to be fully fit in time for the final against Stoke.
"I was gutted on Friday as I was down to play as well," Richards said, according to The Sun.
"I was devastated but happy for the boys. And I'll definitely be fit for the final, I'll make sure of it."
