Ipswich Town have signed Stoke City defender Danny Higginbotham on an emergency one-month loan deal.The 33-year-old defender will join up with his new team mates in time to play for the Tractor Boys against Charlton Athletic at Portman Road on Sunday.
The centre-back's experience is set to boost an Ipswich side who have only won one of their opening six games of the Championship season, lying 23rd in the table, above only pointless Peterborough.
