The Scottish boss has revealed that Rovers' trio of deadline-day signings were made on the back of recommendations from the club's outspoken global advisor, Shebby SinghBlackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean has revealed that he has never watched any of the club's three deadline-day signings play live.
The Championship outfit brought in Polish goalkeeper Grzegorz Sandomierski from Genk and Portuguese pair Nuno Henrique and Diogo Rosado from Academica and Sporting Lisbon, respectively, during a late flurry of activity in the transfer window.
However, the Scot has admitted that the signings were made on the recommendation of the club's global advisor, Shebby Singh, who previously caused controversy by stating that Kean would be sacked should Rovers lose three games in a row.

"Shebby Singh was very excited about them coming here and was telling me how good they were. We feel as though we can improve any player that comes to the club and also integrate them as quickly as possible."
Despite never having seen his new squad members play, the Glasgow-born boss remains confident that all three will prove to be a success at Ewood Park.
He added: "These players have been identified by Shebby and he's been very excited about the technical abilities of these players. You can't have too many good players."
