Steve Kean has confirmed that Blackburn have submitted a bid for Huddersfield Town striker Jordan Rhodes.
The 22-year old made a vast contribution as the Terriers gained promotion from League One last season, notching 37 goals in 41 games.

Kean suffered a blow last week with the news that summer signing Leon Best faces six months on the sidelines after damaging his cruciate ligaments during a pre-season friendly – and the manager is now keen to re-bolster his forward line with the highly rated youngster.
Kean told ESPN: "I can confirm that we have a bid in for Rhodes, and are also interested in other players."
Blackburn will face a fight to capture Rhodes’ signature with Fulham, who have already had one bid turned down, maintaining their interest.
However, the recently relegated side’s owners, the Venkys, are reportedly prepared to offer the youngster a £35,000-a-week contract with Huddersfield recouping a further £2 million on top of an initial £4m transfer fee if the Lancashire side are promoted back to the Premier League at the first attempt.
