Championship 2012-13 fixture list: Leeds to start campaign against relegated Wolves

Wolves' new manager Stale Solbakken travels to Leeds, Blackburn visit Ipswich while Bolton face rivals Burnley as the three relegated clubs open the season with tricky away games

The three sides relegated from the Premier League each begin life in the Championship with tricky-looking away fixtures.

Blackburn will hope to start their recovery away at Paul Jewell's Ipswich Town, whilst Bolton, relegated by a single point on the last day of the season, will take on manager Owen Coyle's former club Burnley in a Lancashire derby at Turf Moor.

Wolves’ visit to Neil Warnock's Leeds United completes the trio of former Premier League side's travelling on the opening day.

Meanwhile, defeated play-off finalists Blackpool open the season away at Millwall and semi-finalists Birmingham and Cardiff start their promotion campaign at home to newly-promoted sides Charlton and Huddersfield respectively.

Leicester City open at home to Peterborough, Middlesbrough host Barnsley, Brighton are Steve Bruce's first opponents as Hull manager at the KC Stadium, Crystal Palace take on fellow Londoners Watford, Derby County host promoted Sheffield Wednesday, and Nottingham Forest face last-season’s fellow relegation battlers Bristol City at home.
