The Israeli defender is understood to be claiming that he has not been paid his wages by Pompey since returning from a loan spell at West Ham United back in January this year
Tal Ben Haim is believed to be set to take legal action against Portsmouth because of unpaid wages.
According to The Daily Mail, the defender's allegations are that he has not been paid since his return from a loan spell with West Ham United.
The 29-year-old returned to Pompey in January, and it has now been reported that he has received the backing of the PFA over his current situation.
The Fratton Park outfit are likely to remain hit with a transfer embargo if Ben Haim's claims are successful.
Portsmouth currently have only eight players on contract at the club.
