Scouts were present when playmaker had argument with team-mates
The former Tottenham player had recently claimed that United were keeping tabs on his progress at Loftus Road, and has been in impressive form that has helped QPR reach the top of the Championship table.
Boss Warnock also claims that United scouts came to watch Taarabt star in action in the recent goalless draw against Hull City – a game which saw the midfielder show his moody side when he was substituted in the first half after bickering with team-mates.
And the QPR manager has warned Taarabt he has blown his chance to join United and is delighted at the fact it means the Moroccan star will be staying at Loftus Road.
"He let himself down on Saturday," said Warnock.
"United came to watch him and he had a strop.
“I said on the bus that's done that, hasn't it? He can forget about joining United.
“I'm delighted because it means we've no chance of losing him now."
