Midfielder could get a look in...Hull City manager Nigel Pearson has opened the door for Jimmy Bullard to return to the fold.
The Tigers have not won any of their last five matches in all competitions, losing four of them in the process.
In the meantime, the former Fulham midfielder had been heavily linked with a move away from the club all summer, but eventually failed to transfer to another club.
This prompted Hull to freeze the 32-year-old out of their squad, but it appears that Pearson is willing to bring the midfielder back into the fold.
"I'm prepared for him [Bullard] to be in the reckoning," he told reporters.
"Contrary to the way the story gets reported from time to time, there is an opportunity there. By no means have I written him out of the equation."
When asked about Bullard's prolonged absence, Pearson added: "It would be wrong of me to divulge every aspect of the situation.
"I understand people's questioning and their angles but there are certain things that have to be kept in-house.
"All I would say is that there will be an opportunity at some point and it will be done in the interests of the group."
