Manager Steve Cotterill is determined to keep the 22-year-old at Fratton Park despite the money problems at the club.
Cotterill told The News: "To be honest we would not want to sell Marc Wilson,"
"There is no way, absolutely no way we want Marc Wilson to leave.
"I think he is going to be a great player, a massive player and I want to work with him here."
