Nottingham Forest to host Olympique Lyonnais in pre-season friendly
Forest pitting their wits against one of Europe's finest...

Nottingham Forest will play French giants Olympique Lyonnais at the City Ground on July 28.
The Champions League semi-finalists will visit the City Ground later this month, a fixture which will no doubt excited Forest supporters and has received praise from Forest operations manager Brandon Furse.
Speaking to the club’s official website Furse said: "It is a real coup to attract one of Europe's top clubs,
"I am sure it will create a lot of interest among our supporters and in the city generally."
Forest and Lyon previously met in the UEFA Cup in the 1995/96 seaso,n in a game which saw Forest triumph with a 1-0 win. Fans of the Midlands club will no doubt be hoping for a similar result come July 28.
