The Gunners have made their first signing of the January transfer window after Bramall signed from a side who play in the seventh tier of English football.
Arsene Wenger has heaped praise on Arsenal newboy Cohen Bramall and believes the youngster has what it takes to follow in the footsteps of former Gunners left-back Ashley Cole.
Bramall, 20, has signed a two-year deal with Wenger’s side after joining from non-league side Hednesford Town for a fee in the region of £40,000.
He spent two days on trial at the club in December and did enough to impress the watchful eyes of Wenger and his coaching staff, who invited him to take part in a first team training session.
“Cohen Brammal has signed for us” Wenger told beINSPORTS.
“He’s an exceptional physical talent. I don’t think he’s ready, today, to play in Premier League but he has similarities to a young Ashley Cole."
Bramall is expected to go straight into Arsenal's under-23 squad, where he will compete for a place at left-back with Marc Bola.
