thumbnail Hello,

The latest Blues youngster to break into the first team has had to wait for his chance, but finally made his first start in the cup on Tuesday as his team took a fine victory

Nathaniel Chalobah made his first-team bow away to Leicester in the 4-2 EFL Cup win for Chelsea, and he had to be patient for it.

In fact, he had to wait almost six years since making the bench at the age of 15, against Newcastle, breaking the record for longest wait since making the match day squad at Chelsea!.

His appearance at the King Power stadium will hopefully be the first of many after he impressed in pre-season, with the 21-year-old carrying on John Terry's legacy to wear the famous blue shirt.
