Arsene Wenger says that the Poland international will begin the season as his No.1 but admits that performances could see the Colombia international secure a starting spot
With Arsenal poised to complete the signing of Colombia international David Ospina, Wojciech Szczesny's long-term status as the club's first-choice goalkeeper is not yet certain.
Earlier in July, Goal exclusively revealed that Ospina has agreed a four-year contract with Arsene Wenger's side and will join the club in a £3.5 million deal from Nice.
Wenger has also confirmed the move and admits that performances could allow Ospina to oust Szczesny out of a starting spot.
"You know at the start Szczesny will be the No.1, then again we'll be down to performances and, if Ospina shows that he is better, he will play," the Arsenal boss told reporters.
But who do you think should be Arsenal's first-choice goalkeeper? Has Ospina shown enough to warrant an immediate place in Wenger's starting side?
