thumbnail Hello,

The England midfielder is set to depart the club after making over 600 appearances and finding the net 211 times, but is he the Blues' best ever player?

Frank Lampard has announced that his 13-year stay at Chelsea is to come to an end but is the club's all-time top goalscorer the greatest player in the Stamford Bridge outfit's history?

Making 648 appearances and scoring 211 goals during his time with the Blues, the 35-year old has been one of the Premier League's most consistent performers since the turn of the century, leading to in excess of 100 England caps.

Lampard's goals, as well as his all-action displays from midfield, have come at the same time as the club's most sustained period of success, with the veteran involved in three successful Premier League campaigns.

He also played his part in the club's first Champions League triumph in 2012 as well as the Europa League win that followed in 2013 under Rafa Benitez.

He also picked up four FA Cup and two League Cup winners' medals, with the former West Ham United man scoring the winning goal in the 2009 FA Cup final against Everton.

Many great players have graced Stamford Bridge over the years, with the likes of Peter Osgood, Gianfranco Zola, Didier Drogba and John Terry just some of those held in legendary status by the club's supporters.
