The 24-year-old midfielder believes his "visibility" will be enhanced if he competes in Europe and admits his future at Southampton remains undecided
The 24-year-old capped an impressive season at Southampton with a call-up to France’s standby list for next month’s World Cup.
Schneiderlin has been linked with a move to Arsenal this summer and the Frenchman concedes his future remains undecided.
"For my progress and my visibility, it would be better to play for a club who play in the Champions League," he told reporters.
"I know there is a lot of speculation, but I still have three years on my contract, it does not depend on me. We'll see in the coming weeks."
