Manchester United agree deal for young goalkeeper Milinkovic

Manchester United have announced the signing of teenage goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic as they look to move on from a disastrous campaign at Old Trafford.
5/1 Manchester United are 5/1 to win the 2014/15 Premier League title

The 17-year-old has already represented Serbia's Under-17 side, and will remain at current club FK Vojvodina for the 2014-15 campaign as he continues his development.

United currently have three senior goalkeepers in their squad, with Anders Lindegaard and Ben Amos acting as deputies to David de Gea. Twenty-one-year-old Sam Johnstone has recently completed a loan spell at Doncaster.

The Red Devils are looking to rebuild after finishing seventh in the Premier League last season, with manager David Moyes losing his job after a disappointing defence of the English title.

Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal is set to replace Moyes at the helm, with a summer spending spree expected as United look to reclaim a Champions League place.

Goal understands van Gaal has already begun detailing his plans for next season, with Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels and Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman high on his wishlist.
