Manchester City capped a terrific 2013-14 domestic campaign on Sunday as the 2-0 win over West Ham at the Etihad Stadium ensured they would be crowned Premier League champions.

Possession played a big part in their success this season, with Manuel Pellegrini's side boasting a league-high pass success rate of 86.1 per cent, while they were second in the table in terms of average possession (58%).

With 102 goals scored over the season, City's firepower helped propel them to the title while defensively they were also a solid unit, with Pellegrini's men conceding an average of just 9.5 shots per game, the lowest in the division.
