thumbnail Hello,

Newcastle United faced no threat of relegation this season but a ninth-placed finish was deemed unsatisfactory by fans who have voiced their discontent towards Alan Pardew’s reign.

Goals have been hard to come by this term and Newcastle have been heavily dependant on Loic Remy, who scored 14 times, although the 27-year-old will return to his parent club QPR this summer and has made public his desire to play for a team in the Champions League.

Papiss Cisse, meanwhile, netted on two occasions and has a shot conversion rate of just 9.86 per cent.

Overall, Newcastle have failed to score in 16 games this season and only Crystal Palace (17) and Cardiff City (19) have registered more blanks in front of goal.
