The Magpies manager saw his side turn in another poor performance on Monday as they lost 3-0 to Arsenal at the Emirates, their sixth straight defeat in the Premier League
Alan Pardew returned from his touchline ban for headbutting Hull's David Meyler to oversee Newcastle's turgid defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates on Monday.
Goals from Laurent Koscielny, Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud gave the Gunners a comfortable 3-0 victory at home, and consigned Newcastle to their sixth defeat in a row.
Such was the away fans' discontent at the performance, they unveiled a banner reading “Next excuse, Pardew?” as their campaign to oust the manager continues.
Pardew has not seen his side win a game since March 22 and many in the north-east are calling for his head.
So is it time for Mike Ashley to bite the bullet and axe the boss? Or should he give the 52-year-old time to turn the club's fortunes around?
Should Newcastle part ways with Pardew? Or should the Magpies give the Englishman more time to turn things around at St James' Park? Vote in our poll and leave a comment below or on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
