The Germany international was substituted yet again at Wembley in the FA Cup semi-final but the majority of votes in our poll think he should be playing more for the Gunners
Arsenal striker Lucas Podolski does deserve to play more for the Gunners, according to Goal readers.
The Germany international has completed a full 90 minutes just twice this season and was substituted after 68 minutes of his side's FA Cup win over Wigan.
Youngster Yaya Sanogo stayed on at Wembley as the Gunners, who went on to win the game on penalties after a Per Mertesacker equaliser, had taken the game into extra-time.
Podolski admitted after the game that he was frustrated at being substituted but says competition for places is a part of playing for a big club.
"Of course. I play and, in the last games, I always come out and of course you cannot be happy when you always go out after 60, 70 minutes,” he told reporters.
"Of course I am not happy always to be substituted. It's the decision of the boss. It’s not always easy when you play for a big club but of course I am not happy to always come out and watch from outside. You cannot be happy with this situation."
Goal readers agree with Podolski with a majority 65 per cent saying that the striker deserves more game time while 35% disagree.
