After the Arsenal boss had claimed Mourinho’s reluctance to declare his side as title contenders was down to a “fear of failure”, the Chelsea boss responded by labelling the Frenchman as "a specialist in failure”.
Chelsea currently lead the Premier League, one point clear of Arsenal and three clear of Manchester City, who have a game in hand. Liverpool, meanwhile, are four points off the pace but unbeaten in their last seven league games.
Mourinho’s side will host Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on March 22 and the Portuguese appears to be looking for leverage in the media well in advance of the crucial fixture.
