Tom Ince ready for Premier League challenge - Pulis

The Blackpool winger joined up with Crystal Palace on deadline day and the Eagles boss is "convinced" that the England Under-21s international can make a big impact
Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis is "convinced" that new signing Tom Ince is ready to face the challenge of the Premier League.

The England Under-21s international joined from Championship side Blackpool on loan until the end of the season on Friday, after talks with a host of clubs, although his signature was not secured in time to feature in Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Arsenal.

9/1 Tom Ince is 9/1 with William Hill to score two or more goals against West Brom
The winger scored 18 goals in the second tier last season and racked up seven in 23 appearances before his deadline-day move, joining as one of five new arrivals at Selhurst Park in just 24 hours, and Pulis hopes that the 22-year-old will provide a boost in their bid to avoid the drop.

The Welshman told reporters: "We hope he helps us stay in the Premiership.

"We hope, after that couple of months, that we prove he should be at this football club. He's a very talented young player but, more importantly, he scores goals.

"He comes off the line or you can play him in behind. He's an intelligent player who can get in behind and make runs.

"He's got almost 200 league games at such a young age; he needs to step up again and test himself. We're convinced he'll cope with it."
