The Blackpool winger has asked to leave the club to play in the top flight for the rest of the season, while his father, Paul, was recently sacked as manager at Bloomfield RoadBlackpool have granted Thomas Ince permission to move to an unnamed Premier League club on loan for the rest of the season.
The winger came close to joining Cardiff City in the summer before deciding the move was not right for him.
The former Liverpool youth product has since been the subject of interest from Swansea City, but the Championship outfit have not named the side Ince is set to join before the January transfer window closes.
"Blackpool Football Club can confirm that, following discussions with Thomas Ince and his representative, permission has been given for Thomas to discuss a loan move to a Premier League club," a statement on the club's official website read.
"Thomas has expressed his ambition to play in the Premier League for the remainder of the season, a decision that the club fully understands and supports."
Ince's father, former Manchester United, Inter and Liverpool midfielder Paul Ince, was recently sacked as Blackpool manager via text message.
