There are few surprises with regards to the top point scorers in attack, as Samuel Eto'o (9) leads the way with 14 points - a gameweek high - following his hat-trick for Chelsea in the 3-1 victory over Manchester United. The Cameroon international, who played for 79 minutes, is starting to find form in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, the rejuvenation of Emmanuel Adebayor (7) continues. The Tottenham striker picked up 10 points after an impressive performance against Swansea City, in which he scored twice on the way to a 3-1 win at the Liberty Stadium.
Despite playing for just 28 minutes, Sergio Aguero (10.5) completes the attack after scoring and assisting in an impressive cameo against Cardiff City as his recovery from injury continues. Aguero, unsurprisingly, is joined by Yaya Toure (9) who picked up 10 points after finding the back of the net and providing an assist of his own in the 4-2 win.
In midfield, Santi Cazorla (9.5) bagged two goals against Fulham which proved enough to earn him a very strong 13-point haul - and a win for Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the process.
Adam Johnson (6.5) continued his good run of form with a goal and an assist as Sunderland battled back to draw with Southampton, while rivals Newcastle beat West Ham 3-1 with Yohan Cabaye (6) scoring twice.
Norwich pair John Ruddy (4.5) and Ryan Bennett (3.5) also scored big after keeping a clean sheet against Hull, with the centre-back earning 12 points after heading in the only goal of the game at Carrow Road.
This week's team is completed by two more goal-scoring defenders in Diego Lugano (4.5) and Dejan Lovren (4).
|GAMEWEEK 22 DREAM TEAM
Red cards are never good for Fantasy Football teams, and anyone with Nemanja Vidic (5.5) or Tom Huddlestone (4.5) in their side this week will be licking their wounds. Vidic was dismissed late in the defeat to Chelsea and ended up with minus two points, while Huddlestone was given his marching orders against Norwich and finished on minus one for the weekend.
Rafael (5.5) was another Manchester United player to come in for criticism for a tackle on Gary Cahill. The Brazilian was not sent off for the two-footed challenge, but was shown a yellow card and finished the game without a single point to his name.
Chelsea may have been victorious at Stamford Bridge, but David Luiz (6) only scored a single point after his yellow card, despite finishing the game.
Similarly, a host of Manchester City players did not score big despite their convincing 4-2 win over Cardiff. Joe Hart (6), Vincent Kompany (6.5) and Martin Demichelis (5) could only manage a point each, while Aleksandar Kolarov (5) didn't pick up any.
There are two suspensions to consider ahead of gameweek 23, with Vidic ruled out for three games and Huddlestone set to miss just one.
Elsewhere, popular choice Seamus Coleman (4.5) is having a hamstring injury assessed after limping out of Everton's 1-1 draw with West Brom, so it might be time to temporarily drop the attacking full-back.
Swansea midfielder Jonjo Shelvey (5.5) is also an injury concern after picking up a knock against Tottenham, while Dejan Lovren (4) was stretchered off against Sunderland.
But, after wasting no time to get back among the goals following an injury, making some room in your team for Sergio Aguero (10.5) might be wise, though the striker will have to dislodge one of Edin Dzeko (7.5) or Alvaro Negredo (8).
