The German club's president has revealed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on securing a deal for the former Manchester United forward but insists the 26-year-old won't be sold
The former Manchester United striker has scored five goals in 12 Bundesliga appearances this season as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to bolster his squad further following the arrival of Magnus Wolff Eikrem from Heerenveen on Wednesday.
But Hannover, who sit 13th in the German top flight, remain keen to keep the 26-year-old at the club.
"Cardiff wants him, I can confirm that. But he coach wants to keep him, so he stays,” Kind told Kicker.
