"The whole squad is so frustrated. We all feel it. All the lads hate losing. We are always gutted. We want to do our best. We try so hard every week," the Republic of Ireland international told the club's official website.
"Hopefully things will turn, especially at home.
"To have all the possession in this game, create the better chances and go out is disappointing. They only had a couple of chances.
"We expected a tough game. They didn't take us by surprise. It was just so disappointing to go out of the FA Cup.
"We have Arsenal next Monday now. That will be a big game. We will look back at this game and then look forward to the Gunners. We have to concentrate on the next game. We need to concentrate fully.
"We will get together, group up and go again for the next game."
