Hughton: Norwich must forget Suarez nightmare

With a quick turnaround before their trip to West Brom, the Canaries boss wants his side to pick themselves up from their 5-1 drubbing by Liverpool on Wednesday
Norwich City boss Chris Hughton wants his side to forget their 5-1 drubbing at the hands of a Luis Suarez-inspired Liverpool on Wednesday.

The Canaries were well beaten at Anfield on Wednesday, with the Uruguayan scoring four fine goals to condemn Hughton's men to a fourth consecutive away defeat in the top flight.

4/1 Norwich are 4/1 with William Hill to score in both halves against West Brom
With a quick turnaround before Saturday's trip to West Brom, though, the Norwich boss wants his players to put the defeat to the back of their minds.

"We can't dwell on [Wednesday] - now it's all about getting the right game plan for our trip to West Brom," Hughton told the press.

"Our best away performance by far this season was at Stoke and we need to start getting to that level again.

"We'll be working very hard with the team tomorrow to make sure we give ourselves the chance to win on Saturday."

Hughton has no fresh injury concerns ahead of their trip to the Hawthorns, with Ricky van Wolfswinkel still a week away from returning after an ankle injury.

"Ricky van Wolfswinkel's done lots of good running this week," the manager explained. "We're still aiming for the Swansea game for him."
