Ben Arfa vows to bounce back from Pardew snub

The France international is so desperate to regain his place in the Magpies team that he says he is prepared to play anywhere on the pitch except in goal
Hatem Ben Arfa is happy to trust Alan Pardew's judgement on which position he should play as he is desperate for a Newcastle United recall.

The France international has been deployed as a winger and a forward for Newcastle this season, but has watched the last two games, wins over Chelsea and Tottenham, from the bench as an unused substitute.

8/11 Newcastle are 8/11 with Coral to beat Norwich on Saturday
And ahead of Saturday's home clash with Norwich City, Ben Arfa has spoken of his willingness to continue as a utility player for Pardew.

He told The Shields Gazette: "I'll play anywhere on the pitch if the gaffer thinks it's best for the team.

"I'll give 100% anywhere he puts me.

"I'm a professional football player – I have to give everything on the pitch. It is the same for all the players.

"I'll play anywhere – just not goalkeeper!"

After their run of two consecutive victories, the Magpies have risen to ninth in the Premier League table.
