Anders Lindegaard has praised Manchester United team-mate Adnan Januzaj for the impact he's made since earning a place in the Premier League champions' first team.

The 18-year-old scored twice on his full debut against Sunderland, and was a bright spark for David Moyes' side in Tuesday's 4-0 Capital One Cup win over Norwich, winning the penalty which gave United the lead.

The Danish goalkeeper continues to be impressed by the Belgium-born teenager's performances for the Red Devils, and praised his demeanour on and off the pitch.

"I think it's lovely to see how great Adnan is doing," he told the club's official website. "He gives hope to the whole United spirit, a young lad coming through from the academy into the first team.

"He's doing absolutely fantastic. You see what an impact he's had, not just tonight [against Norwich] but on other nights as well.

"Adnan is cheeky both on the pitch and off the pitch. He seems very balanced in his personality and that's great to see from an 18-year-old kid.

"He plays like he's played 200 Premier League games already. I'm just very impressed with him."
