The Spaniard, who spent eight years in north London before rejoining boyhood club Barcelona for £35 million in the summer of 2011, reveals he can see himself coming back
Fabregas departed the Emirates Stadium to rejoin his boyhood club in the summer of 2011 for a fee of £35 million after eight years in north London.
And the 26-year-old admits the idea of returning to the Gunners one day appeals to him - particularly considering how welcoming Arsene Wenger has traditionally been towards former players.
“I’m sure they would give me the option to help out there,” the Spaniard replied when asked whether he could see himself beginning his coaching career at Arsenal.
“Sol Campbell is there at the moment. Dennis Bergkamp also went there two or three times a week to train when he was doing his coaching badges. It’s a great club in that sense.
“The club's like a family so even if it wasn't as a coach, I'm sure they'd give me the chance to play a role.
“Arsenal is in my heart and always will be. I don't know if I'll have the opportunity to go back and play there one day, or maybe after football.”
