Jose Mourinho makes one forced change to his side as the suspended Fernando Torres misses out, while Sebastien Bassong returns from injury for Chris Hughton's side
The 28-year-old replaces Fernando Torres, who is serving a suspension after being sent off against Tottenham last Saturday, in Jose Mourinho's only change following Chelsea's 4-0 win over Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Michael Essien, who was not named in Chelsea's Champions League squad and missed the victory in Romania, is named among Mourinho's substitutes, although there is still no place for Kevin De Bruyne.
Norwich head into the fixture following a 1-0 victory over Stoke City last weekend but Chris Hughton has made one change to his side as Ryan Bennett drops to the bench and is replaced by captain Sebastien Bassong in central defence.
