Zverotic is the Cottagers' only signing on a quiet deadline day, but becomes the club's ninth acquisition of the summer transfer window.

"The club is delighted to announce the signing of Elsad Zverotic from BSC Young Boys for an undisclosed fee on a two-year deal with an option," read a statement on the club's official website.

"The club would like to welcome Elsad to the Barclays Premier League and wish him well in providing competition for the First Team squad."

Manager Martin Jol had been keen to bolster his defensive ranks, and the Montenegrin can operate anywhere across the backline or in midfield.

Fulham also announced that Marcello Trotta has rejoined League One side Brentford on loan, while under-21 striker Cauley Woodrow had moved to Southend United on a one-month deal.
