Bendtner made 10 appearances for Juventus last season but failed to score a goal during his loan spell with the Serie A champions.
However, Wenger says the 25-year-old is likely to remain at Arsenal this term and could challenge Olivier Giroud for a place in attack.

Arsenal also confirmed that Mathieu Flamini has rejoined the club on a three-year deal on the same day, with the midfielder becoming the club's second acquisition of the summer following the arrival of Yaya Sanogo on a free signing.
