The Colombian experienced a barren first season at Craven Cottage, notching just three goals over the course of the year and his manager has set a target of 10 strikes for 2013-14Martin Jol has challenged Hugo Rodallega to improve his goalscoring record for Fulham next season.
The Colombian striker signed for the Premier League club before the start of last season but only managed three goals in his 33 appearances, and has not hit double figures in any of his last three campaigns.
And Jol laid down the gauntlet to the 28-year-old Rodallega ahead of the new campaign.
"Hugo is a goalscorer and I feel he should get at least 10 goals, so that is something we have to work on," he told The Fulham Chronicle.
"He will say ‘boss I didn’t play all the matches’, so you’ve got to look at it from both sides.
"People at Fulham only tend to score three, four or five goals, so I was very happy with Berbatov scoring more than any other striker over the last eight years."
