Following their acquisition of Edinson Cavani for €63 million [£54.4m], Blanc stated that he felt well stocked up front and would only add a midfielder if the Parisien outfit returned to the transfer market.

Rooney has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with PSG, Arsenal and Chelsea seen as the frontrunners for the 27-year-old's signature.
