But despite the Uruguayan's desire to leave the Reds, manager Brendan Rodgers has included him in the club's touring party of Indonesia, Australia and Thailand.
The touring squad depart this afternoon with new signings Kolo Toure, Luis Alberto, Simon Mignolet and Iago Aspas all on board.
Suarez and fellow Confederations Cup participants Jose Reina and Sebastian Coates will join the touring party at a later date having been given an extended break due to their involvement in the international competition.
The Reds face an Indonesia XI in Jakarta on Saturday before facing Melbourne Victory in Australia the following Wednesday and concluding their tour against Thailand in Bangkok at the end of the month.
