Krul, 25, is a reported target for Arsenal who are seeking a goalkeeper to rival Wojciech Szczesny, but the Newcastle stopper is adamant he is only focusing on his current club.
"I will be fit for the first game of the season [against Manchester City]," Krul told reporters.
"I’ll try to get a couple of friendly games to get myself fully up to speed — and I’m right on schedule."
