The France youth international, who is currently at the Under-20 World Cup, believes that being linked to the Blues is a compliment to his development as a defenderSaint-Etienne defender Kurt Zouma admits he is "happy" to be linked to Chelsea, but is concentrating on his country's performance in the Under-20 World Cup.
France start their campaign against the USA on Monday, with Zouma is expected to play a key role in their campaign.
The 18-year-old has been linked to Anzhi Makhachkala, Bayern Munich and AC Milan along with Chelsea, and could not deny he is flattered by the interest.
"If you hear of interest from Chelsea and a great manager such as Jose Mourinho, you take notice," Zouma told reporters.
"It makes you happy, and it means you are on the right way to the top.
"I am relaxed about all the fuss about me being linked with big clubs, at the moment my focus is on the Under 20 World Cup. We have to try to win that with our generation of good young players."
