The Greek midfielder is set to leave Craven Cottage this summer but has been quick to hail the supporters who have helped him settle from the start of his spell at the clubGiorgos Karagounis has praised the Fulham fans, revealing he has developed a strong relationship with the Craven Cottage supporters and admits they have inspired him to give his all for the club.
Karagounis joined the Cottagers on a one-year deal last summer and even though he is set to leave the club in the close season, as exclusively revealed by Goal.com, the Greek international revealed the special bond established between himself and the Fulham faithful.

“I’m a player that gives my all to a team and to a game, I think the fans see that and appreciate it. They like their players to give their all to the cause. I gave my all to every single game.”
The much-travelled 36-year-old has played under his fair share of passionate supporters, having enjoyed spells at Panathinaikos, Inter and Benfica, but rates his time at Fulham as one of the best.
He added: “It can be difficult for a player to move to a new country, during my career it’s something that I have done a few times.
“There’s nothing better for a new player to feel accepted and I had that with both the fans and my teammates from the very start. It’s something that made me feel very proud.
“I gave 100 per cent every time I put on a Fulham shirt, and that is my way of saying thank you to the fans."
