thumbnail Hello,

The England international has been left out of the starting XI for the Gunners' crunch game against Wigan, while Kieran Gibbs returns from injury to take his place at left-back

Jack Wilshere remains on the bench as Arsene Wenger makes one change for Arsenal's clash against Wigan.

Kieran Gibbs returns from a hip injury to replace Nacho Monreal at left-back, while Lukas Podolski continues as a lone striker for the Gunners.

Wigan are unchanged from their FA Cup victory over Manchester City on Saturday, with their goalscorer, Ben Watson, having to settle for a place on the bench.

A win for Arsenal would see them leapfrog north London rivals Tottenham into the last remaining Champions League spot. A victory for Wigan would put them one point behind Sunderland in 17th place, with just one remaining Premier League game to be played on Sunday afternoon.

Arsenal starting XI: Szczesny; Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs; Arteta, Ramsey; Walcott, Rosicky, Cazorla; Podolski

Wigan starting XI: Robles; Boyce, Alcaraz, Scharner; McArthur, McCarthy, Gomez, Espinoza; McManaman, Kone, Maloney
