QPR goalkeeper Cesar pictured wearing Chelsea shirt

The relegation-threatened club have confirmed that matter will be dealt with "internally" after a photo on the 33-year-old's Instagram account was circulated on the internet
QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar is reportedly set for a club fine after being pictured wearing a Chelsea shirt at fellow Brazil international David Luiz's birthday party.

The shot-stopper was attending the fancy-dress celebrations with his wife Susana Werner, who opted to upload the photo in Cesar's personal Instagram account before being quickly deleted.

10/3 QPR are 10/3 with Paddy Power to be winning at half-time and full-time v Reading
"The club is aware of an image of Julio Cesar circulating on social networking feeds today," said Ian Taylor, QPR’s head of media and communications.

"The image, which appeared on an Instagram account, has since been deleted. The club will be dealing with this issue internally."

Cesar joined the Rs from Inter in the summer but, despite a string of impressive performances, has been unable to prevent the London side slipping to 19th in the Premier League standings and a candidate for relegation

Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Stoke City leaves QPR ten points adrift of safety, knowing a loss to 20th-placed Reading on Sunday will see the club drop back into the Championship after just two years in England's top flight.
