With QPR and Reading almost certainly condemned to the Championship, Willie Duncan examines the market on which side might join them in being relegated this term
Consequently, the betting market on which three sides will plummet into the Championship is a fascinating one and Coral's market offers plenty of value for punters.

|Queens Park Rangers||1/50|
Therefore, it comes as little surprise to see Nigel Adkins’ side available at just 1/100 (1.01) with Coral to be relegated to the Championship while Harry Redknapp’s men are rated as 1/50 (1.02) shots with the same firm to be playing their football in England’s second tier next term.
FA Cup finalists and perennial strugglers Wigan lie third bottom of the table and can be backed at 8/5 (2.60) with Coral to be relegated this term but that is a price which represents little value given that Roberto Martinez’s men are in the drop zone only by virtue of goal difference while it is worth noting that the Latics have two games in hand to their fellow strugglers.
Aston Villa have lost just one of their last five matches and Paul Lambert’s men will be hoping that Belgium international Christian Benteke, who has scored an impressive 19 goals in his debut season for Villa, can fire the goals to keep them in the Premier League. Villa are chalked up at 5/2 (3.50) with Coral to go down this term.
Struggling Stoke City are locked with Villa on 34 points and represent excellent value at 4/1 (5.0) with Coral to be relegated, having picked up a paltry five points from 13 Premier League matches in 2013. The Potters face crunch fixtures against Queens Park Rangers, Norwich City and Sunderland in their next three matches and should Tony Pulis’ side fail to collect a lion’s share of points from those matches, they could well find themselves facing the prospect of Championship football next term.
Sunderland will have been heartened by their stunning 3-0 derby victory over Newcastle United on Sunday and the Black Cats, now under the stewardship of Paolo Di Canio, are available at Coral’s chunky 9/2 (5.50) quote to be relegated.
The battle to beat the drop looks to be, as tense as ever but out-of-sorts Stoke City could struggle to pick up the points required to remain in the top flight and, subsequently, the Potters represent superb value at 4/1 (5.0) with Coral to join Queens Park Rangers and Reading in the Championship next season.
