The 21-year-old midfielder has enjoyed two spells out on loan since the club secured his permanent signature in 2012 but has hinted he may move elsewhere at the end of the campaign
The Belgium international signed a five-and-a-half-year deal after completing his move from Genk in January 2012 before immediately being loaned back to the club for the remainder of the campaign. He was subsequently farmed out to Bremen for the 2012-13 campaign.
However, De Bruyne has already confessed that he is considering his options after being left unaware of what the club plan to do with him in the future.

"I want to show everybody in Chelsea that I can play also there, but for the moment I don't know what Chelsea want to do with me," De Bruyne told Sky Sports.
"So it's difficult to say what is going to happen with me in the next year or years so I have to just wait."
Having built up a relationship with Eden Hazard while on international duty, though, De Bruyne is confident that he has enough ability to make an impact at Chelsea should he return and feature for the first-team next season.
He added: "I'd love to play with Eden. I know him already a long time. We played already together in the national team, we have the same age.
"Internationally is also a very high level, so I think you can compare it with Chelsea.
"All the players in our national team also play in big clubs in England and all over the world. So I think you can compare it."
