Cameron: Stoke players are behind Pulis despite poor run of form

The American defender has given his backing to the Potters boss after their 0-0 draw against West Brom at the Britannia Stadium ended a three-match losing streak
Stoke defender Geoff Cameron has claimed that Tony Pulis has the backing of the club's players after their current run of poor form continued with a 0-0 draw against West Brom.

The Potters have won only one of their last 11 matches and currently lie in 11th place in the Premier League, seven points clear of the bottom three.

The stalemate at the Britannia Stadium halted a three-match losing streak, however, and Cameron expects Stoke's form to turn around sooner rather than later.

"Losing to Newcastle [the previous weekend] with that late goal was a big dagger to us," Cameron told reporters.

"Most teams would put their heads down and not come back from that but we showed we still have a positive attitude.

"The players are behind the manager 100 per cent. We were flying around Christmas. We beat Liverpool at home and everyone was on cloud nine. You get these bad bounces and there's no sense in being negative."
